06 - Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld and develop.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Everything happens in under 30 minutes, leaving you more time for porch sitting
  • The pasta actually gets better as it sits, making it perfect for meal prep or picnics
02 -
  • Rinse the pasta with genuinely cold water, not just lukewarm. This prevents it from cooking further and keeps each piece distinct.
  • The salad needs at least fifteen minutes in the refrigerator, but it is even better after a few hours.
03 -
  • Save a handful of fresh herbs to scatter on top right before serving. It makes everything look freshly made.
  • Taste the salad before serving. Chickpea pasta can be thirstier than regular pasta, so you might need another splash of olive oil or lemon juice.
